After your mind has been blown by Totality, you’re going to need a place to process what you saw and experienced. Come to FEED! We’ll have music, meditation, projections, a laser show(!!), and more!
Time-based Performances:
6PM -Syzygy by Ethan Hayden, with David Linton on guitar. Interplay of orbiting waves coalescing into a crescendo of light and sound, Syzygy is a performance on the eve of the 2024 solar eclipse, where bodies align to create an experience invoking natural phenomena, waves, and time; utilizing a disklavier, guitar, and light projections.
7:30PM - BlackLight-A laser and sound show by JesterN. In this performance, sound is the signal that moves the laser beam in a synaesthetic and synchronic discourse exposed for the audience senses. A contemplative live performance in which time is dilated to counterbalance the haste of modern life: invisible light revealing what is hidden, as phosphor extends its trace, capturing the passage of time.
8:30PM - Eclipse Meditation: Enjoy a guided meditation with artist Kelly Killz. This 30-minute multi-sensory emotional exploration is intended to facilitate processing the ellipse in a safe and fun group environment.
9PM- Ecliptica by Enki Andrews and Chris Jordan, with Ethan Hayden on trombone and David Linton on guitar. Bringing together a multitude of voices and recordings from the day of the eclipse in 2024, Ecliptica is a performance reflecting on our community and perspectives of time and impermanence. The performance focuses on the qualities of light-spectra experienced during an eclipse, layered with the faces and light of the community surrounding FEED.
